We took the boys to go see Santa last Thursday night, in hope to beat the weekend crowds. Cole was so excited and had a list of things to ask for. He was telling both Jamin and I that he would ask for Buggy's present too, because Bug was going to be too scared. It was a given that The Bug was going to cry! We got up to the front, and there was NO line! Cole took one look at Santa, and froze. He immediately didn't want to go, but reluctantly said he would because he really wanted Santa to bring his Buzz Lightyear Mission Pack. He asked me to go up with him, and of course I did. This year mommy was in the sleigh with Santa and my two boys. Cole didn't really want to look at him, but spoke quietly with his head half turned, just enough so Santa could hear. When time to leave, both boys gladly accepted their candy canes and gave Santa a friendly wave good-bye! The picture is one for the books, and the story will be one to share when they are older!
We tried out a new tree farm this year, thanks Meg! It was awesome, and so much to choose from! The boys had a blast running though the farm, and Jamin gimped along dodging stumps. He was able to cut the tree down, and got it to the car. Cole and I were in charge of the lights and inside decorations, with the occasional "Help" from the Bug! We had a great time, and I really hope that next year Jamin has some healthy knees to do the outdoor lights! I think I am going to try and get more brave and do the ones on the upper deck next weekend... I REALLY Love Christmas time!!

Snow!
I have decided that the snow is pretty and fun to look at when you are at home with your family. Driving in the stuff is an absolute nightmare, and now that we live on a monster hill, it makes for a very tough commute. I now have a love and appreciation for the Audi. Thanks for getting me home safely to all my boys!!
On another note.. the boys couldn't be happier! This is The Bug's first snow, and it is hilarious to watch him in it! If you have ever seen the movie, The Christmas Story, you can appreciate what Bug looks like. It reminds me of the part when Randy is in the snow suit and can't put his arms down. This is very similar to our little Bug. It was sad, but comical every time he fell, because he seriously could not get back up. Cole on the other hand was a snow pro and made many snow angels and loved being out in it. I love that I have snow days, so I can spend it at home with my little snow bunnies! We are having a great time, and we will be waiting for daddy to get home to go back out!

Yo Gabba Gabba!
Cole and I went to see Yo Gabba Gabba at The Tacoma Dome, and we had a blast! He was a little unsure when the lights went off and the music started to get loud, but he jumped right in and was dancing with the best of em! It was such a cute show, and so special that my biggest boy and I could spend some one on one time together! We also made it home with a Yo Gabba Gabba light, and t-shirt! Of course we needed souvenirs!

Halloween 2010!
I would have to say that this was the best Halloween we have had to date! The boys are old enough now to grasp the coolness of Halloween, and all it has to offer! We had a family/friends impromptu Halloween get together, and those are the best kind! Meg and her family came over, and she has been one of my family forever, so I guess you could say it was another one of our family parties! The kids had a great time, and we were shocked how many houses they made it to! You could tell they were tired, because their little legs could go no further! The slept extremely well last night, and I think it was just the hype of getting the candy because they really haven't been too interested in eating it. I guess it was a lot of hard work, so they are savoring every piece!

Fox Hollow Farm
Still can't get enough of this autumn harvest season, and all it has to offer! We met Wes, Marie and Baby Liv, Uncle Mark, Auntie Helen, and Baby Emma at the Fox Hollow Farm. Cole was thrilled there was yet another bounce house, and Bug cannot get enough of barnyard animals. He seriously has NO fear!
It was a great time spent with friends and family! This has been a busy October!

Maris Farm Field Trip!
Cole had is very first preschool field trip to Maris Farm. We had a blast! Cole went on the famous Cow Train. He was thrilled about the bounce house. He played in a barn full of corn kernels, rode some toy tractors, ran around a playhouse milk carton, went on the farm slides and fed some animals. We went on a hay ride, and through a story corn maze. I was very impressed! This was quite the farm. He got to go into the baby patch, and pick out his very own pumpkin. Of course he wanted one that was orange and green, and didn't have a lot of dirt on it. So we made it home with a cleaner pumpkin with beautiful shades of orange and green.
The kids had a blast, and their parents did too!!
