Happy Birthday Leilani!

This past weekend we went to my friend Megan's daughter's 1st birthday.  It was very fun, and Cole thought the Elmo decor was the coolest!  1st birthday's are always so fun and special, and are great reminders to parents how fast time flies.  Speaking of time flying....Caden is growing so much as each day passes.  He is a little over 11 pounds, which seems huge to me since he was only 7 pounds such a short time ago.  Cole is also growing daily, and forming quite a sense of humor.  He has the ability to make me laugh at any given time.  He has a new crush on Dusty's girlfriend Hayley, and asked her if she would miss him while she was on vacation in Mexico.  I told Jamin that we are going to have our hands full!  I am having a great time home with the boys, and have a new appreciation for parenting two small children.  There is no down time, and the days go by so fast.  They are so different, and have completely different personalities.  I love them both, and can't imagine what life was like before them.  So to my friends out there waiting...you know who you are! :)
Well I should probably start thinking about cooking dinner, even though take- out sounds awesome!! :)

It's About Time!

After seeing many of my friends cute and creative blogs I figured it was about time I started one of my own.  We have a Flickr site for Cole and have recently put photos of our newest addition, Caden on, but thought a blog would be fun to update our family and friends on our day-to-day activities.  We are quite busy these days with two boys, but we are having a lot of fun!  Cole is very helpful, and a great big brother.  He wants to hold brother, and give him many wet kisses.  Caden is a good baby, a bit fussier than Cole was, but so sweet.  Cole is growing up daily, and is quite the talker...I wonder who he gets that from?  Cole is pretty sure he is reading when he is looking at his books, and through memorization, he is pretty close!  We are potty training, and we were successful today!  Cole was very proud of himself, as he got off the potty and clapped his hands and said, "Yay Cole!"  We were also very proud.
Well I am going to do my best to keep this blog as up-to-date as I can, but time is pretty limited around here.  I promise to try!!
